Rules and Guidelines for Entries

1. Mailed Entries:

PFDA gladly accepts mailed entries. Each box mailed to the competition must include a completed registration form. All mailed entries to be shipped by UPS and in a suitable container with return charges and insurance. NO C.O.D.'s will be accepted. Payment must be received with the entry. Send entries to:

Birds arriving damaged, and deemed unsuitable for competition, will not be allowed to compete.

2. Deadlines for Registration:
Mailed in entries must be received by July 14, 2006
Hand carried entries by July 14, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., 9 p.m. to 9:20 p.m.
July 15, 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
3. Entry Fees:
PFDA Members: $5.00 each
Non-members: $8.00 each
D. U. Carver of the Year: $10.00 each
All participating carvers will receive two free admissions for the weekend.
4. Regulations:
- All entries must remain on display until the conclusion of the show (approximately 4:00 p.m.), Sunday July 16th.  Hand carried entries may then be checked out and cleared through security. Mail-in entries will be shipped to the carvers the following week.
-Entries are limited to birds that have never been entered in competition at the Pacific Flyway Wildlife Festival.
-Carvers wishing to sell their entries after the judging must so indicate and specify the selling price. Birds for sale will be tagged for public information.
-Disputes over entries or judging will be settled by the show chairman.
-All donated items become the property of the PFDA and disposition will be at the discretion of the Association.
5. Security:
All events associated with this contest will take place within the confines of the Doubletree Hotel. The PFDA will use diligence in protecting all entries and exhibits, but the Association will not be responsible for loss or damage which may occur.
